2007 Custom Shovelhead Bobber

Adam Chandler from Lake Worth, Florida, United States made available these photos of his Shovelhead Bobber that he built in 2007 for the Smoke Out in Arizona. This Chandler Original custom bike design could be classified as "bare bones hardcore bobber with a twist": Adam replaced the usual two prong rear fork with a hardtail single side rear suspension design which doubles as oil tank!

This single sided rigid has a lot of 1949 Ford car influence. It has a fresh 93" 1500cc stroker shovel motor that Adam rebuilt himself, with S&S cases and STD Heads. Furthermore, the bike has a fresh four speed kick only tranny, a BDL open belt, a springer fork, no front brake, hand made exhaust, and hand made handle bars.
