Building Bob's Bobber
Bob of McKay's Cycle Creations of Kingston, Ontario, Canada made available these photographs of the build of his 1978 Harley Shovelhead Flat Track Racer Bobber.
Bob: "This Bike is built using a 1978 Shovelhead drive line in a mostly aftermarket chassis. It was done to resemble a 1946 WR flat track racer."
Bob's Bobber has the drive line from a 1978 FL. It uses some stock parts and some aftermarket. It was done to be period correct style.

Bob McKay has been working on motorcycles and working in the motorcycle business since 1970. Customizing motorcycles has been his main focus and passion. He has built and modified hundreds of one of a kind custom motorcycles.
Over the last 30 years many of Bob's creations have been featured in national and international motorcycle magazines since his first feature in Street Chopper magazine 1974.
