1969 Early Shovelhead Bobber

Fats from Maasmechelen, Belgium made available these photos of his Early Shovelhead Bobber that was built in 2007. This Oldschool style motorcycle has a 1969 Shovelhead Generator type engine, as produced until 1970. This classic V twin has been combined with a rigid frame and a springer front fork.

This oldschool bobber has green metalflake paint with gold pinstriping and gold metalflake trim.

Until 1970, Shovelhead generator engines have the generator placed in front of the engine. This design was inherited from the Panhead engine which was the predecessor of the Shovelhead engine.
