1966 Harley FL Shovelhead
Russ from Berea, Ohio, United States made available these photographs of his 1966 Harley FL Electraglide Shovelhead.
Russ: "This is a freshly restored 1966 Electraglide FL Police Special. Weisco 10-1 forged pistons, Andrews #6 cam, ported heads. New Rev-Tech trans, factory cloth wiring to factory specifications. New internals hydraulic compression front end, progressive front springs. Updated the brake system to disc. Also has new swing arm and neck bearings, tires, etc."
Russ: "Bike has S&S super E-series carb profesionally jetted to the exhaust system."
Russ has a so called "Generator Shovelhead".
Until 1969, the Harley Davidson Shovelhead engine retained the lower end design arrangement of the Panhead engine,
with the generator placed in front of the lower end of the engine.

This Harley Shovelhead has left foot clutch at the footboards and left hand shift next to the fuel tank.
